The Nature People
Network

Striving for a sustainable environment

About Us

As a non-profit environmental organization, we describe ourselves as civil society actors who recognize the need for countries to meet their Convention on Biological Diversity COP15 commitments, work with indigenous communities, and develop conservation models that ultimately protect 30% of all of our planet’s land and water for nature by 2030. On behalf of civil society, we work in finding critical and threatened unprotected landscapes and develop long term community oriented solutions to conserve such places and their biodiversity, while simultaneously empowering indigenous economies and local conservationists.
